Oman’s SME sector grows 24% in three years, employs over 192,000 nationals

Oman’s SME sector continues to expand significantly; by the end of 2025, more than 130,000 SMEs were registered with the Public Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises Development (Riyada), contributing around 21 % of GDP and employing nearly 193,000 Omani nationals, reflecting strong growth and integration into both private and public supply chains.
