This research highlights the barriers disabled users face in accessing e-commerce websites and emphasizes the importance of web accessibility amidst the growing e-commerce market in Saudi Arabia, projected to reach $13.3 billion by 2015. It examines tools used by disabled users and evaluates the accessibility of three popular Arab e-commerce websites using five testing tools: AChecker, TAW, Eval Access, MAUVE, and FAE. The study identifies navigation, readability, input assistance, and timing as common accessibility issues and underscores the influence of HTML errors on accessibility. While some tools report fewer problems, the findings indicate significant room for improvement in achieving better web accessibility.
