What is this group?
This group is designed to bring members together to exchange knowledge, share opportunities, and connect with others across the Arab region working toward disability inclusion. This community is dedicated to advancing the economic inclusion of persons with disabilities across the Arab world. It brings together a diverse network of stakeholders—including Organizations of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs), entrepreneurs with disabilities, private sector actors, and members of the IGED network (government representatives)—to collaborate, exchange knowledge, and drive meaningful change.
The group serves as a collaborative space to share practical insights, discuss challenges and solutions, highlight opportunities, and foster partnerships that contribute to more inclusive economies and societies across the region.
At its core, the community is guided by a shared vision: a region where persons with disabilities have equitable access to economic opportunities, resources, and decision-making power.
Through ongoing discussions, advocacy efforts, public events, and policy-focused dialogue, members contribute to shaping national and regional agendas, empowering disability-led initiatives, and strengthening inclusive employment and entrepreneurship as key drivers of sustainable social and economic development.
